'NOTHING SWEET ABOUT ME...'
Project: take a line out of the song 'Nothing Sweet About Me' by Gabriella Cilmi and make a picture using 2-3 base colours.
I chose the line 'When your playing with desire, don't come running to my place when burns like fire boy'
So I went for red/orange/yellow (fire) and added the white lotus flower to make it 'pop'.

'LILY'S LOST LOVE'
My first Dreamscape. This was so much fun to do. I tried cutting into the base picture (the ribbons) and threaded on the alphabet lettering DREAM and around the aeroplane.

'A DAY AT THE BEACH'
I like the effect of ripping paper so decided to give it a go with this piece.
I took a base picture (beach scene) ripped it into 3 sections and pasted it to a piece of white card.
Never one to stay within the lines, I deliberately placed several pics over the picture edge.

Using another magazine picture as a base, I have added other pics and cut some into the base picture (Marilyn in life preserver & naked guy) to try to get the effect of them being 'in' the water.

Magazine picture as base. Added the picture on the wall and books on couch.
Stickers & pictures of bugs used, and I cut round the girls hand/fingers to place the weta into her hand.

'O NIGHT DIVINE'
2nd Dreamscape - Dreams don't necessarily make sense, but they are full of symbolism.

Being a romantic Pisces, I really enjoyed just playing about making a romance collage.

'THE TIMEKEEPER'
I love making pieces that feature time in it somewhere (look out for clocks, watch pieces in my work).
Using a magazine picture as a base, I have replaced his eyeball with a clock face and added time pieces down the right side.
